Three Main Learning Styles:
There are three main types of learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Most people learn best with a combination of all three learning styles, but it varies for individuals.
VISUAL - These people learn the best through graphic images, watching a demonstration, or reading text. Listening to an explanation may be less effective than to actually have the information in print for these learners.
AUDITORY - These people learn the best by listening to instructions given to them verbally rather than to sit and read it on their own. Some people may find it effective to recite information out loud when they are studying.
KINESTHETIC - These people learn best through hands-on experiences. Anything that involves moving around or interaction is better understood than sitting in a chair and listening or reading. Writing out the information is more easily remembered and understood than simply reading it or being read to.
